Just a Few Notes

I am at Maryanne's babysitting until Sunday...Got the kids to bed about eight, so have been sitting cruising You Tube for fun....Have been listening to Mario Lanza a tenor from the forties and fifties that Mom loved. She especially liked his version of The Lord's Prayer, was always so upset with Hollywood for destroying him...Search on You Tube for this - click on the box showing him wearing a suit and tie - not military uniform - and listen. Absolutely phenomenal. I went to Wikipedia to research him a little and see he is considered one of the true greats - two of the three great tenors of today look to him as their inspiration..,Sadly, was lured from his career by film, with a not atypical Hollywood ending to his story...

Little Emma Ryan read me a story she has written earlier today. The most memorable lines were: "Her beauty knocked him out. But he got over it."

Anna and Joshie have been making me pictures. Anna crowned her efforts with a little book she wants to ask Uncle Tim about publishing, It is called, "The Slug Family". How I love my little grandchildren!
